First Aid Training
First Aid Courses
We regularly organize first aid courses for our partners, delivering approximately 300 courses annually for companies such as E-On, Tesco, and the Hungarian Post. We provide both introductory and refresher courses, all in compliance with the 3/2002 (II.8) SZCSM-EüM joint regulation.
Each course lasts 4 hours, divided into 2 hours of theory and 2 hours of hands-on practice. In the practical session, we cover CPR, wound dressing, and the use of a defibrillator. At the end of the training, participants take a test, and those who pass receive a certificate.
The course material includes recognizing emergencies, TRIAGE, calling for help, initiating care (ABCD), and using semi-automatic and automatic defibrillators. It also covers positioning, dressing wounds, and ensuring airway management.
Before organizing a course, we consult on the required number of first aid personnel and provide them with practical, skills-based training. The training is conducted by an experienced paramedic, who uses real-life examples to illustrate and demonstrate topics such as:
- General overview of first aid; importance and basics
- Structure of healthcare systems
- Categorization of locations and potential hazards
- Assessing the condition of a patient/injured person
- Evaluating consciousness
- Securing an open airway
- Breathing assistance
- Care for an unconscious patient
- Practical training on stable side positioning
- Basic Life Support – chest compressions (practical training)
- Automated defibrillator use (practical training)
- Hands-on practice with mannequins and simulations of real-life scenarios: electric shock, fractures, choking, unconsciousness, allergies, etc.
