Where can I get this medical specialty?
Most common laboratory diagnostic tests
General laboratory screening, so-called large laboratory test
This test should be performed several times a year to assess the condition of the human body. It can shed light on possible disorders of carbohydrate and fat metabolism, general condition of the liver and kidneys, depletion of iron stores, various causes of anaemia, vitamin deficiencies, etc. The laboratory evaluation is not part of the laboratory examination, it is worth ordering it, there is no significant surcharge for this medical work. Based on the internet, you cannot properly evaluate the result obtained.
Small laboratory test
A general narrower test package. It is basically useful and informative for patients without complaints, as some common diseases can be recognized in time, before the onset of symptoms. The small lab includes blood counts and urine tests, as well as tests for some parameters related to blood sugar, protein, and fat homeostasis and liver and kidney function. Abnormal laboratory findings do not necessarily indicate illness or require intervention. This is why it is important to evaluate at a medical consultation.
Some tests require preparation (e.g. fasting blood test, special diet before a stool test, etc.), so always contact our customer service beforehand!
Those who have thinner or hard to palpate veins, or possibly due to previous multiple punctures, the vein is scarred, it is possible that even multiple punctures are required for successful blood collection. It is possible that there may be pain, swelling or blood clots at the puncture site, in which case it is recommended to freeze it or apply a cold water compress locally.
